Each is generated, not drawn — the detail continues past what a screen can show, which is why they are made to be printed large.
Each work is generated from a rule set rather than composed by hand. The rules are simple; what they produce is not. Detail continues down past the resolution of any screen, which is why these are made to be seen printed and large.
Symmetry does the rest. Where a form folds back on itself the eye reads order, and the fine structure underneath stays legible instead of turning to noise.
Sizes and substrates are set per commission. Tell us the wall and the light it gets, and we will tell you what the piece needs to be.
Two of the blooms are built as 3D objects. Open one on a phone and it will place itself in the room at true size.
On iPhone and iPad these open in AR Quick Look; on Android, in Scene Viewer. On a desktop browser the file will simply download.
Prints are produced to order at the size the room needs. Send the wall and we will work back from there.
